Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the PlayBallIQ app. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Private beta
PlayBallIQ is in private beta. Accounts are granted by invitation only. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable at times while we make changes. We will give reasonable notice before any change that would remove data you have entered.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account
- Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details private
- You are responsible for activity under your account
- Each account may be signed in on up to two devices at a time
- Tell us promptly at support@playballiq.com if you think your account is compromised
Your content
The teams, rosters, schedules, statistics, recordings, and images you put into the app stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store that content, sync it to your devices, and share it with coaches you invite.
You are responsible for the content you enter. In particular:
- You must have the authority or permission required to record information about your players, including minors
- You must have the right to upload any audio or image you add, and to use it the way you intend
Music services
Connecting Apple Music is optional and requires your own subscription with that service. Playback is governed by Apple's terms, and what you can play through PlayBallIQ depends on what they permit. We are not affiliated with Apple, and we cannot guarantee any particular track remains available.
Acceptable use
Do not use PlayBallIQ to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights
- Upload content that is unlawful, harassing, or hateful
- Attempt to access accounts or team data that are not yours
- Interfere with, overload, or probe the service or its infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute the service
Speech synthesis and other paid features are subject to per-account limits so one account cannot exhaust them for everyone.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Global Settings, which removes your account and the teams you own as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, and will tell you why where we are able to.
No warranty
PlayBallIQ is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep your data safe and available, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — the app can export a full JSON backup from Global Settings.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, PlayBallIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost opportunities arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use PlayBallIQ after a change means you accept it.
